There are some phenomenal black artists. If you know anything about Art Nouveau, why weren't there or aren't there any African American women depicted in this genre?
Art noveau was mainly an European art movement at the very beginning of the 20th century. I don't think it was ever a major art movement in America, and even if, then it would have been at a time when african american artists did not get much attention.
