Unique ideas for my art project?

The drawing needs to be done in pencil and shaded completely. I have a piece of background paper that I need to either glue, staple, tac, nail, or tape objects on to. The paper is wood grain. It closely resembles the bark on a tree. I had an idea about attaching plastic frogs, leaves, etc., and making it look like a rain forest scene. If you have any cool ideas that would be very unique and interesting, please help me out! I will consider every idea and try to work with it. Thank you for your replies in advance!

put things on there that are made from tree bark.
-bits of paper, posters, cardboard boxes, wine corks.

things that you can hang from trees.
-put little tiny models of hammocks, bird houses, bird feeders, halloween decorations.

your idea of a rain forest theme sounds really cool as well. (:
