Audiolife Will Offer Artists Worldwide a Streamlined Solution for Selling Music Online

About the Author
I have a "signed by the artist" photo collage, but can't decipher the name. To whom could I turn to read it?
I bought it at an auction. It is inscribed and signed by the artist. I can make out Kathy or Katherine, and I thought the last name was Dixon, or it could be Dison. There's definately a D and an i in the signature. The photo collage is of the LA River basin and has superimposed digital images of skateboarders. The artist signed the collage and inscribed it with the phrase "With apologies to the La River Conservancy and Friends of the LA River, an alternate vision of the River as Skate Park." I bought it, at auction, in 2002 at the Project Angel Food Fundraiser at Barker Hanger in Santa Monica. It is framed and dated as so by the West Hollywood Framing Company. I brought the piece into see their records on it, unfortunately, the record only indicated the frame number and date, and listed no artist info.
I'm trying decipher the artist's name for a couple of reasons, one being curiosity, and the other to appraise it's current value since the time of sale.Does the artist sound familiar?
Is Project Angel Food still around? That is who I would contact. Charities and non-profits have to keep good records of donations, including those for charity auctions. There is also a good possibility that the photographer knew somebody involved with this project, and that is why she donated a piece to the auction.
So I think that is your best place to start.
