Bistro Tables Provide Cozy and Intimate Spaces

When thinking about a romantic evening, there are probably a few typical visions that come to mind for some people. Years ago, it may have been a drive-in movie in a hotrod car, a milkshake with 2 straws, wearing a special someone's pin at the school sock-hop. Nowadays, those romantic nights more likely include dim lighting or candles, soft music, flowers, dancing, or a cozy table for two. Young couples seated at bistro sets sharing a dessert, and then salsa-dancing the night away.

The latter vision also reminds me of ordinary evenings in Europe. Many a night, there are musicians in the street at outdoor cafes, playing for the patrons seated at mosaic-topped bistro tables and chairs. Locals and tourists of all ages gather for a drink or snack, meeting others and just enjoying the fresh air. Just stroll through piazzas in Venice, Italy, or streets in Paris, France, and you're bound to see all kinds of cute, tucked away bistro table sets at restaurants.

The intimate feeling of bistro table sets has entered the home decorating world in the form of patio furniture, with all kinds of bistro table sets being used as a major design element in homes and on porches. Apartments and lofts, small homes with minimal dining space, and porches and patios have become cozy corners with the addition of a sweet table and few matching chairs. Even in homes with sprawling great rooms and hallways, you can probably find a bistro set in a nook somewhere the owners imagined would be a fun place to sit and enjoy their morning coffee and newspaper.

Sounds very nice and relaxing, doesn't it? Time for a reality check!

If you are like the majority of the population, the chances of you sitting down in a quiet corner on the streets of Europe are slim to none. You may have children running around spilling juice and cereal. The school bus comes in five minutes and their lunches are not made. The dog is barking because he needs a walk, and your spouse has an early morning meeting and therefore can't be of any help.

So there you are, newspaper tucked under your arm for later, your coffee in a to-go thermos, picking up the kids book bags as you rush them out the door to the bus. And forget your table being clear enough to eat on anyway. Stacks of school papers, junk mail, and bills (hopefully paid!) are scattered so that you need to make piles out of piles just to find a clear surface.

However, bistro sets can create cozy corners on your patio or own backyard with your favorite garden flower as the centerpiece. You may not be serenaded by a Parisian violinist, but you may find that your back porch is far enough away from your daily routine to make all the difference.

So whether you have a small space to fill on a patio balcony or an outdoor living area where you are trying to create the feel of a European cafe, placing a bistro set on your patio is a great investment.

Asking out a waitress in a bistro-restaurant?

What's the best way....

I'm not the nervous type and I can strike up a bit of small talk but I just want to know if anyone has some does and dont's about doing it in the bistro/cafe?

Flirt with her, make fun of her, tease her, do this a few times, if she is excited & remembers you when you come back the 2nd or 3rd time, then ask for her number. Shes not going anywhere, she works there, so dont be so eager, its the No.1 mistake us guys make, we see a little interest and jump for the number, its a big turn-off for women, play the game, she loves the game, and the thrill of the chase...give her what she wants...so that you can get what you want.

With a Serious pissed off concerned look on your face say:

Excuse Me, Can I speak to the manager.
Her: Why?

You: [with a funny tone, & a cheeky playful smile]The service here is terrible...I had to wait 2minutes for my beer/sandwich/whatever. thats 2minutes of my life wasted. someone needs to be fired.
Her: [Laughs]

You: So where do you see yourself in 5-10years time?
Her: I'm a Student doctor

You: Really? [look really surprised] You look more like a McDonalds worker
Her: Huh?, Hahahahaha, I cant believe you just said that...
You: Yeha I can see it now, your employee of the month, your photo is framed above the counter, Well Done!...I'm So Proud of you... I think you should buy me a drink, so that we can celebrate....

Use lots of Tone, enthusiasm, and charisma when you speak to her, act like you have just won the lottery, be lively...

You get the idea dude, take it from there...
Believe it or not, she will buy you a drink, but if she wants to play a little longer, and says 'No', say:

'I was only kidding babydoll, you would only be so lucky to buy Me [point at yourself with both hands] a drink...........anyway girl, it was nice talking to you, havent you got some place to be?' [do a shew shew hand gesture with your hands, and dont give her a chance to answer, during the slight pause. this will teach her a lesson, do it in a fun playful way, not a mean way]

Your basically telling her to f*ck off, you just rejected her, and she will be shocked, since no one treats her like that, no one rejects her, every other guy is licking her a-s-s, saying stupid things to buy some time to talk to her, buying her drinks, staring at her, kissing the ground she walks on, EXCEPT YOU. and you my man, will get her....

Trust me, she will not leave, its reverse psychology, she will stay, sometimes, she will tell you when her shift ends, so she can chat to you longer. And if she does leave, its due to work, especially if its busy, she will come back when it dies down, to talk to you.

Remember, most women lead boring lives of routine, like most people, But when you arrive with all the witty fun cocky remarks, she is going to love it, she will talk to the other hot waitresses about how you treated her, and when word spreads, they are going to want you....

Remember the Golden Rule of the Game:

when you want them, they dont want you, When you dont want them, they want you

So act like you dont want her....and you'll get her.

Havent you noticed all the girls you dont want, want you, and the one's you want, dont want you. This is the Game...

Sometimes girls bring up there boyfriend when they are talking to you, If she says 'I have a boyfriend', Say: 'I dont remember asking' or if you want to be mean, say: 'No offense, but Who would go out with you, I've only known you for 5minutes and I already cant stand you'

You have nothing to lose my friend, give it a go, once you see the light, you'll never go back. Even if you don't manage to get her [unlikely, if you follow my advice], you will still leave the cafe with a huge smile on your face, feeling AMAZING...and women notice this from a mile away, so you'll be drawing women to you, everywhere you go...

REMEMBER ACT COOL, CALM AND CONFIDENT, AND DONT BE TOO EAGER, ACT INDIFFERENT.
