How should I redecorate my room?

I've been allowed to redecorate my room but I have no idea on what to do. Right now the walls are a pale green and my furniture is like a cream color and looks worn. I'm not going to be changing the furniture or anything, Just the paint and wall deco. I'm a soon to be 15 year old girl so anything you guys can think of will be helpful. Whatever I do I'm gonna paint chalkboard paint on one of the walls. Maybe even a theme would be nice? I don't know... but thanks in advance!

What is your favorite color? Be sure to put that in your room. The best thing to do is find a comforter set that you LOVE. It will set the whole theme for the room. Try Wal-Mart, Target, and JcPenney for cute ones for teenage girls. After you pick your comforter, you'll have an idea of colors you want for your room and you can accessorize your room from there (lights, photo frames,rugs,etc.)
