TIME SAVING WRITING TIPS

Writers are always searching for the best and most effective organizational methods and ways to save time while writing.  These tips can be used by any writer, whether you are a professional, an aspiring writer, or just a student.

In particular, freelance writers need time saving tips more than other writer.  Writing is normally their second job; therefore they are very limited in the time that they can devote to writing.

Organization is the number one ingredient to saving time when writing.  If you don't pre-plan and decide upon a structure for your project you are only hurting yourself.

Prior to writing you need to decide the following:

• Topic
• Title
• Keywords
• Where to obtain research and facts

With that said, your next steps should be:

1. Create an outline – It's just as effective as a daily to do list.  If what you need to accomplish is staring you in the face it's much harder to not get it done in time.  It can also help you with formulating ideas for your project.
2. Reuse Past Projects – One of the biggest time saving tips you can use is to reuse content from your previously written work.  This may even help direct attention towards some of your earlier writings.
3. Hire a Ghostwriter – Pay someone else to do the writing for you.  This has become an increasingly popular option over the past 10 years.  Hiring a ghostwriter will be much more expensive than doing the writing yourself, so make sure your time is worth it before investing in this option.
4. Take ideas from other people's writings – this is really only suggested when writing blogs since you can offer a direct link to the original work you are citing.

Saving time while researching is key to saving time while writing – here are a few tips to assist you in that area:

• Learn to use the right keywords.  This can completely change which sites a search engine provides you with.
• If that doesn't work try a refined search.
• Online dictionary's and encyclopedias are also a great resource for information.

Don't sit down to write if you aren't in the mood.  No matter what kind of deadline you are under it is counter-productive and extremely pointless to attempt to write when you're not feeling it.

Pick something to reward yourself with if you complete your project in the timeframe you set for yourself.

Make sure to drink plenty of water and stretch.  If you push your body through too many straight hours of work you are only going to take longer to complete your project.

Writing is difficult enough, without having to worry about writer's block. Writer's block is that awful feeling that you get when you're faced with the alarming sight of a blank page or, more-likely, a blank Word document.

 

Specifically what I do is provide a daily "Starting Point." First I give a concept for what type of piece you should write, for example: a Haiku, a short story, or a dialogue-only scene from a play. Second, I will give you a subject or situation in which to begin your writing, for example: an argument between an elderly married couple, or the feeling you get when you realize you left your wallet in a friend's car. Finally I will provide a sentence, or a couple sentences, which you will use as the first lines in your daily writing.

What can I use to clean my rims?

Hey, i got an old school grand marquis, and I love the original rims, but they got a lot or grime and brake dust on'em....is there anything u guys recommend to bring them back to original?

Lots of hot water with soap and use the derust and degrease and hella cleaning stuff that you can find at like kreagen or auto zone or even a normal grocery store
