(UK) I'm a landscape photographer who doesn't have a car, options for places to go?

I'm looking to photograph wild landscapes in the UK, lakes, mountains etc., however, I am completely reliant on public transport.
Can anyone suggest a place that has fairly epic views but that one can get to without a car. Obviously I'd walk a reasonable distance.

Also, if you can also suggest the nearest place to it that I'd be likely to be able to get a train/coach to, I'd be grateful, thanks

You don't say where you're starting from but I think the wildest and most beautiful part of England is the area around Ludlow and Church Stretton in Shropshire which both have railway stations www.nationalrail.co.uk

From Church Stretton you can walk to The Long Mynd, the Sipperstones and Wenlock Edge
They are incredible
From Ludlow you can walk into the Mortimer Forest - a huge forest running over the tops of hills; the
most beautiful part is High Vinnalls
