Top 3 Oils to Use to Combat a Vaginal Yeast Infection

I have listed three of my favorite oils to use when helping people eliminate their vaginal yeast infections. Each of the listed oils has a different application method, so read the article and see which one you like best, or use all three!

Grapefruit Seed Oil: This oil is great to prevent further transfer of bacteria. I recommend ladies you wash any underwear or undergarments in boiling water for at least 5 minutes and add 10-20 drops of grapefruit seed extract. This will kill off all the bacteria. If taking it internally, it is also effective not only again bacteria, but parasites and fungi. You must dilute it or you may end up having an upset stomach! Try one drop per glass of water.

Coconut Oil: Coconut oil contains caprylic acid which has antifungal properties. Not only does it smell and taste great, but you can substitute it for any oil in your dishes! I always include it in my shakes and even use it to bake. Contrary to popular belief, coconut oil is very good for you. In the tropics people have very low cholesterol and lead long healthy lives because of the abundance of this magical ingredient in their diets. Caprylic acid in coconut oil works to eliminate yeast infections internally once ingested.

Oregano Oil: This little gem is amazing when it comes to helping with your vaginal yeast infection; however it burns very, very easily. So make sure you dilute it properly, I suggest coconut oil and apply with caution! Rub the solution on your vagina twice a day. You can also ingest oregano oil internally to help combat your yeast infection. Again, you must dilute the oregano oil with juice or water, or chase it down after you drop it on your tongue. The benefits are worth the burning sensation, no pain no gain!

Are canola oil and corn oil the same oil?

I have a corn allergy. On a website I use to get a list of corn derivatives the site owner stated that corn is in canola oil. Yet on another website for people with corn allergies, canola oil was not listed. I researched canola oil on the Internet which stated that canola oil is from rapeseed. But I've been told that it may contain corn. Other sources have told me otherwise.

I'm really confused! So, does canola come from corn? Or, does/can it contain corn oil? Or is it corn-free?

They're not the same. Canola oil is a Canadian product (Can = Canada, Ola = Oil) that originally came from the Rapeseed... nice name, eh? Over time the rapeseed was bred into it's own species, the Canola seed (probably in part for marketing reasons). It's higher in monounsaturated fat (which is a good fat) but Canola oil is a highly processed oil. It claims to be "high in Omega 3" but all that is destroyed during it's manufacture. The oil is cooked at very high temps and anything good is cooked out - it's basically rancid on the shelf before you even buy it.

Corn oil comes from corn.

Canola oil probably says it can contain corn because the equipment used to processes it could also be used for corn oil manufacturing, so there could be some leftover remnants (just guessing here, but it makes sense)

Corn oil is very, very high in Omega 6 polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA). Omega 6 isn't a bad thing, however most people get way, way too much of it and nowhere near enough Omega 3. The point is, we're supposed to have an equal amount of O3 and O6, but almost no one does.

Your best bet is to avoid ALL polyunsaturated seed oils like corn, soybean, cottonseed, sunflower, safflower etc. and avoid ALL processed oils like Canola. Eat olive oil (monounsaturated fatty acid - MUFA) or Coconut oil (saturated fat). Yes, saturated fat. Coconut oil is extremely healthy even though most people think saturated fat is bad for you - but we're learning now that this isn't the case.
