Look Around

There are many things around us.

Often we miss to see them.

In fact, we see only things which are important to us.

Thus many other things which we consider as unimportant are still there!

May be they are useful to someone else.

It goes with curiosity and creative searching.

When more is available we get satisfied.

We lose the capacity to choose the best.

It’s like entering a perfume shop.

Each and every perfume we smell scents good.

Finally, we give up saying that it’s not possible to choose the best.

Still there are people who systematically to through these items and by elimination process arrive at the best few and later the real best.

Such habits are acquired by more practice and decision taking ability.

Choosing is an art.

Hence it requires seriousness in seeing, feeling and enquiring.

It takes time to come a conclusion.

For example, women are good in spending lot of time in choosing things whether it’s their dresses or other things.

Shopping mean choosing, bargaining and buying for them.

They have patience in this art.

I don’t think that men have such a talent.

Men are thus considered to be the poor choosers.

Similarly when we read newspapers and magazines, only certain items attract our attention.

Rest of them are not read nor gone through casually even.

News on a pay hike may be interesting and important for an employee whereas reduction in train fare gladden the train travelers.

These news become unimportant for others.

Our mind memorizes such news.

It stores them.

They can be retrieved any time!

While we travel by a bus, we see many people in it.

The driver, the conductor, the men and women passengers, small school going children, college going youths and many more are available for our observation.

No one talks to another but everyone looks at others without saying a word.

Since we have to take the ticket, we necessarily talk to the conductor.

Most of the time I used to look at the faces of people and try to select the best faces among different groups of people.

It is a good pass time till we reach our destination.

We utter some words to the co-passengers with regard to the seat, space and the crowd around.

Thus we may get on to a ‘small talk’ with people of our taste.

Although we can not choose all the people, still we may choose someone who sits or stand by our side.

When we get down at our destination, we say good bye to them and also we forget their faces.

That is the way the choice works in our day to day life.

When we go out next time let’s see around seriously and select the things we like most.

It’s all free.

It gives confidence and courage to choose.

Look around and pick up always what you want.

. Inside the temple, there’s a painting called Amida triad is drawn in 710, and it’s known as the best painting in Japanese Art History. Inside the temple, there’s a building names Daibutsuden. The style of architecture of Daibutsuden used the scale from Six Dynasties in China. The sculptures during Nara period was Buddhism sculpture. At the period, they liked to use Tang’s sculpture style, but some of the works had Japanese own style’s characteristic for example, the expression or emotion of face looks very wild. That is Japanese style’s sculpture.
