Learn Pencil Drawing - Nude Female and Male
If you want to draw nude bodies, especially the nude women, you should have some prior knowledge of pencil drawing, lining and shading work. It would help making your nude drawings more realistic and more pleasurable to the eyes of art lovers.
First important aspect is that on seeing the drawing from a distance, the viewer should be able to see the perfect organization of the whole drawing. The viewers must have the clear idea about the aspects you have depicted, namely the position of body of the nude woman, the shape and proportion of the nude model's different limbs.
In your figurative drawing one should not fail to mark the different aspects of your artwork that you have done by applying your labour and skill. If care is taken, the softness of the tip of the artist's pencil would clearly be visible, creating the form of the sleeping, standing, or sitting nude figure.
While drawing figure, the drawing of the surrounding articles, too, play a great role in making the art piece valuable. These features may be the shading of drapery and the darkness of the walls, which give more highlighting to the figure drawn. While looking at the position of the naked figure or at the shading of the other articles, the viewer should realise that the artist has maintained excellence of his or her artistic perfection.
It goes without saying that while detailing the nude bodies, of males or females, as an artist you will have to take care in uniting all the limbs of the body into one unit and creating an enjoyable output.

Is it illegal for an artist to paint a nude portrait of a celebrity?
Would he be violating copyright / breaking some sort of a law if he were to sell this portrait.
(Mind you the celeb hasn't modeled in the nude / given any sort of consent)
its illegal to defame anyone but the question is are you defaming them? or are you merely showing them naked...it becomes a matter of opinion.
if the image is totally and obviously degrading, then it definitely would be possible to raise a case against you. if you are not rich however, it would be silly to try and get money out of you because the cost of a trial would make it not worth the trouble. it is more likely, the person's lawyer would contact you and demand that you destroy or remove the image. if it is a decent image, it is unlikely that anything would happen. in both cases, id say go for it but just keep your ear to the ground incase people are really taking it the wrong way...
