Using Southwestern Painted Hides In Southwestern Decor

Where can I find wildlife pictures or bird pictures painted on slate?
My local pub has a number of decorative slate pictures on their walls.I have asked the owner where they got them,but he said they were already there when he took over the pub and he doesn`t know where they came from or how I could get hold of them.Has anyone any ideas about who paints things like this and where I might be able to buy them?
