A beleaguered church, deeming sorcery the culprit of the plague, commands the two knights to transport an accused witch (Claire Foy) to a remote abbey, where monks will perform a ritual in hopes of ending the pestilence. Season of the Witch movie starring Nicolas Cage, Ron Perlman, Stephen Campbell Moore, Robert Sheehan, Claire Foy, Ulrich Thomsen, Stephen Graham and Christopher Lee.

The film will be released on January 7, 2011 under Rogue Pictures and Paramount. Season of the Witch is directed by Dominic Sena and produced by Alex Gartner and Charles Roven with Relativity Media studio.

Season of the Witch offers a supernatural thriller film experience that sets from 14th century Crusader.Behmen (Nicolas Cage) is a 14th century Crusader who comes back to his homeland. Behmen knows his homeland was devastated by the Black Plague. Together with his comrade (Ron Perlman), both are ordered to transport an accused witch (Claire Foy) to an unknown place. A ritual will be made by mysterious monks to the accused witch in the remote place so that the Black Plague will end.

Witchcraft and sorcery are almost identical terms as both use the magic spells, mystical or paranormal means to harness occult forces to produce desired results. Ideally speaking, persons pursuing witchcraft do not aim at producing evil results. Somehow the term sorcery is used pejoratively to denote the use of supernatural powers to produce unnatural and negative course of events. Since when i was a kid I used to read this kind of magical things on books and now even in movies. I love to watch movies which involve magics. If you already watched the Sorcerer's Apprentice you'll definitely love it. Now about this new Season of the Witch 2011 movie it talks about magic and spells which involves some witch during middle ages. The Middle Ages is said to be the period in European History from the 5th up to the 15th century which followed the fall of the Western Roman Empire in 476.

2 questions: Name of the movie with Ron Perlman? Alec Baldwin?

So before going to work I was passing the channels and I saw a bit of these 2 films.

The first one was with Ron Perlman (Hell Boy, Sons Of Anarchy). He was wearing a red wig.
The other one was with Alec Baldwin and he was wearing a ring with a big red stone.
The Ron Perlman is not that one.
He had a wig it was more like a bob. Really red. Like clown red.

Ron Perlman one could be Hoodlum & Son...he had very red hair in that
