Purpose Broward MLS benefits of the Broward MLS

The primary purpose of the Broward MLS is to provide a facility to publish a "unilateral offer of compensation" by a listing broker, to other broker participants in that Broward MLS. In other words, the commission rate that is offered by the Broward MLS listing broker is published within the Broward MLS to other cooperating brokers. This offer of compensation is considered a contractual obligation, however it can be negotiated between the listing broker and the broker representing the buyer. Back in the '80s, many Broward MLS were owned by boards of Realtors, but conflict of interests and lawsuits caused many association groups to form a separate entity for Broward MLS. In my area of Sacramento, for example, members of MLS are not required to be a member of the Broward MLS Board of Realtors, nor the Broward MLS Association of Realtors, nor the National Association of Realtors.

Many Broward MLS services offer to provide home buyers with a list of available homes on the market, but few provide comprehensive data. To get that information, you need to ask your real estate agent to set you up on a home search. Typically, there are many types of reports a buyer can receive, so ask your agent for the most comprehensive report, the name of which varies by locale. What you don't want is a customer copy. It's not enough information.

An agent can enter your name, e-mail and home search preferences into a search engine on Broward MLS that will send you automatic e-mails of new listings. This way you will receive up-to-the-minute information that you can't really get anywhere else.

When you get your house cleaned, are you supposed to be home?

Upkeep of cleaning the home, even a small condo, is tedious and never ending. I want to look into getting a house cleaner to come about once a month. However, I have never done this before. Are you supposed to leave when the person is cleaning your house?? If so, how do you trust such an individual in your home?? Where do you put your prized items? How do you know when to come back?? Thanks!

I cleaned houses for many years. Not everyone is honest, get references. Come home any time you feel like it, it's your house, and that way you can keep them on their toes, always wondering when the next time you will just pop in. Leave them a list of what you want done, so that it gets done, that's helpful. The people I worked for always left the money , I always knew how many hours it would take, and they should also.
If they smoke, they should go outside, not in your house.
And breaks don't count on the clock, they are deducted. Your house is not a smorgasborg, they should be invited, otherwise they should bring their own lunch. If they don't do a good job, after two tries, they're fired! You should be able to tell, the first meeting, when you give them a tour, and they ask about what cleaning products you have to clean with. They should do windows, ovens and dishes are optional. And they should be able to point out the trouble spots right away.Tell them their job is probationary; after two sessions, if they do a good job, then they've got the job. Be tough, they'll respect that.
